Consultant to the Town Council of Milan, department of Health, for ICT and new technologies.
Consultant for the feasibility of the connection of rural areas to the phone network and to the internet; Managua and Palos Ralos, Nicaragua. The project started after The Wold Bank approval of $7 Million for Telecommunications in rural areas of Nicaragua.
Consultant to the ASL of Como (Province of Como office of the Public Healthcare System) for reliability and security of the SIS (Healthcare Information System) and network.
1999-2005
Consultant to BMW Group Italia for Office
Automation and Networking. Involved in many projects included Extranet
implementation and LAN/WAN upgrade and integration, several Company-wide
applications. I have to manage suppliers (IBM, Cisco, AT&T, BT
Ignite, T-System,
Albacom (now BT Italy) etc.) and
over 280 car and bike-dealers and 450 users, included a warehouse,
the connection
to the Corporate Network (Munich) and to implement new security rules for
external partner and suppliers. As a consequence of the new networking frame I
had to revise the framework of the BMW LAN in Milan: routing, security,
re-cabling, naming convention and protocols.
In the first half of 2005 I’ve been involved in the migration to Internet
connection of the dealers (S-Gate project) and new MPLS and VPN connection for
the external partners and suppliers including ISP selection and security issues.
I have given support to the VoIP project of BMW Italy (Milan, Verona and Rome
VoIP connection and migration).
1997-1999
EniData (now EDS group)/EniChem (Eni Group): installation and management of a double NW 4.11/NT 3.51 Compaq Proliant 5000/1500 server with Lotus Notes and cc:Mail), over 300 clients, 370 users.

1996-1997

1984-1985:

Researcher with a Research Fellowship at Hospital S. Raffaele in Milan for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) with Fonar Corp. and Digital Imaging in medicine with the team of the candidate Nobel prize Raymond Damadian.
